Above, I have completed my Daily Openers and my Food & Work/Play page for the Week In The Life Project.  On my Daily Opener pages I used 5x7 photos and for the Food & Work/Play I used 4x6 photos.  I also included daily Gratitudes along with what I ate for breakfast and what my day was like.

I started on putting my Week in the Life 2011 Project together.  I have my Daily Opener Pages, along with my Food & Work Pages complete.  I will have pics up tomorrow!!!

For the 2011 Week in the Life Project, I decided to go with the look and feel from my 2007 Album – which went alongside Ali Edwards’ album.  I like the look, feel and flow of this album.  However, I may add my daily schedule to this album like in the 2010 edition.  Also, depending on the pictures taken I may add one more page to each day for the album.

Below are the supplies I’ll be using:

12x12 Album
1 12x12 Week in the Life Opener
1 12x12 Week in the Life Closer

Daily Opener Section:
7 12x12 White Bazzill Cardstock
14 5x7 Pattern Paper
7 Index Cards
7 Scalloped Circles
7 Hearts

Food & Work Section:
14 4x6 rectangles

Observations/Stuff Section:
7 8x8 Chipboard – to be painted purple
65 2x2 squares (still need to punch out these squares)

Extras Section/Possibly Schedule Section too:
14 8.5x11 White Bazzill Cardstock (Could end up being 28 – if I add my daily schedule.)

As you all know, I adore Ali Edwards.  Every year she launches her Week In The Life Project.  I had the opportunity to volunteer in this class at the 2007 CKU Convention.  Since then, I have actually participated in this project twice, in 2007 and again in 2010.  I must say that all-in-all, these are some of my favorite albums.  I love to look at them from time to time and refect on the good memories and how much my life has changed since then...how much I've grown as a woman/wife/mother, in particular from 2007.

This year, the Week In The Life Project is scheduled to take palce July 25-31, 2011.  However, I'm not quite sure yet if I will be joining the Ali group and embarking on that journey in July.  I am now 22 weeks pregnant, due August 17, so I'm not too sure what my life will look like during that time.  But I'm still keeping the idea of doing the project then in mind, because I would have just turned 30, my daughter would have just turned 2 and my second daughter will be only weeks away from making her grand entrance into this world.  So a lot will be going on....and not to mention, it will be my last week of work - before heading out on Maternity Leave.  :)  So yeah, a lot...but we shall see.

So anyway, I really want to participate in the Week In The Life project as I said, I really enjoy this documentation of life, and since I can't seem to totally commit to Project Life...this is my way of documenting just a little more of my life.  So with all of that being said, one of my dear friends, J.W. suggested that we do the Week In The Life Project together, April 18-24, 2011.  This will be her first time doing the project....and I'm soooooooo excited to have someone close to me doing the project - at the same time!!!!  So I said why not!

With that being said, the remainder of this week, I would like to take you all on a journey of my process in preparing and actually completing my Week In The Life Project.  If you would like to join in on the fun - please do.  So with that being said below are some things I would like to focus on for the next few blog entries:

  • Supplies
  • 2011 Album ready to go - just need to add the pics
  • A Look Back - looking into my 2007 book
  • A look Back Pt. 2 - looking into my 2010 book
  •

Please feel free to follow me on this journey, and make comments along the way - as I am very excited about this project!
